Wizards Workshop

Team Magic - Wizards WorkshopDear Children’s Librarian,

Are your young patrons “Harry Potter”-crazy? Do the Potter books fly back out the door the second they’re returned? Are you looking for a program that will appeal to all of the young readers who have been caught up in “Potter-mania”? Then read on, because I’ve got a program you’re going to love!

Picture this – a room full of your young patrons, learning to perform magic from Throckmorton, a wizard trying to earn himself a teaching position at Hogwarts. If Throckmorton can prove his teaching ability with lowly Muggles, then he will be granted a faculty position at Hogwarts. That’s the concept behind my newest and most unique program to date – “MAGIC FOR MUGGLES”!

Your group will be immersed in a totally unique experience – they will be learning how to perform real magic tricks from a fully-costumed wizard. All of the magic tricks they learn can be easily mastered, and they will receive all of the props needed to perform these magical effects. In addition, each student will receive his or her very own magic wand!

The man behind Throckmorton the Wizard is me, Gregory McAdams. For the past 10 years, I’ve been performing magic shows and workshops at more Schools and Daycares in Massachusetts and New Hampshire than probably any other entertainer in the area. I average more than 300 shows annually – I’m not telling you this to brag, but to let you know that I’m a professional who takes his work seriously.

I don’t expect you to take my word that my shows are good – here’s what some Libraries and audiences who have seen my Workshops have had to say about them:

“Greg’s Magic for Muggles was a great addition to our Harry Potter party!”
– Maureen Strapko
— Children’s Librarian, Harvard Public Library

“The children really enjoyed it, I could tell Greg loves what he is doing and we will definitely hire him again!”
– Mary Ann McGee
— Children’s Librarian, Levi Heywood Memorial Library, Gardner MA

“The Muggles program is a MUST for any library. Not only is it the perfect way to celebrate the new Harry Potter, but it is a program that will captivate ALL participants, leaving them spellbound and looking for more (books on magic)”
– Cynthia Stosse
— Childrens Librarian, Lane Memorial Library, Hampton NH

“The children had an absolutely wonderful time attending your “Magic for Muggles” class held here at the Library last week. The kids loved it. I look forward to having you visit us again. I also was impressed with your easy yet very disciplined approach with the kids. Simply stupendous!”
– Lorreen M. Keating
— Youth Services Librarian, North hampton public library

If we’ve never worked together before, read the next paragraph very carefully, because you’ll probably think it’s a misprint. I am so certain that you will be delighted with this show, I am offering a no-questions asked, 100 percent money-back guarantee! You and your audience must be absolutely thrilled with this program, or it will not cost you ONE CENT! How’s that for a guarantee?

Obviously, this program is going to book VERY quickly. So far, every library that I’ve spoken to about it has booked it on the spot. School break is a great time to fill your library with kids!, but dates fill FAST.  If you’re truly interested in bringing this unforgettable program to your library, you need to call me NOW, at 1-888-494-3022 or (978) 808-7255. Waiting a day or two may mean you may not be able to book “Wizards Workshop” this year!

To quickly answer a few common questions – the minimum age for this show is 7; the maximum number of children is 30 (it’s a hands-on workshop); the length of the performance is 1 hour. If you have any other questions I didn’t answer, call me at 1-888-494-3022 and I’ll be happy to help!
